RocketCart is an exciting, new venture capital-funded eCommerce company that provides next-morning delivery of fresh Korean groceries, including meats, produce, banchan, canned & packaged goods, and more. We currently deliver to all of LA and Orange County, CA., and to many parts of Riverside, Ventura, & San Bernardino Counties, and we are expanding quickly.
We are funded by several early-stage VC firms, as well as co-founders of three unicorn and decacorn eCommerce companies, including Coupang. We are looking to hire a number of people in our Operations & Customer Support Teams.

Head of MarketingJob Type: Full-time |
We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead advertising and growth for the company. This is an amazing opportunity to have immediate impact to lead the marketing function and grow within the company. This is a full-time position and will initially report to the CEO.
Duties & Responsibilities
You are the first marketing hire of the company. There are no policies and procedures set – you are expected to bring experience, creativity, and a proactive, can-do attitude to build out the marketing function and set the company up for success.
You will initially be an individual contributor, but based on your performance, you may lead a large team in the future.
Manage any outsourced marketing resources and teams, including marketing firm currently in place handling some of the items listed below:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive online marketing plan and campaigns to establish the brand, acquire customers, and drive growth.
- Responsible for SEO / SEM for company.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts and campaigns.
- Responsible for Customer Life Cycle Management using email, push notifications, text messaging, etc.
- Build and manage the company’s Email newsletter to customers and prospective customers.
- Build a robust list of prospective customers and channels.
- Manage any external marketing or PR related agencies that the company works with.
- Lead content marketing, including videos (marketing videos, customer testimonials, informational videos, etc.), blogs, and more.
- Lead the PR function. Manage outreach to media channels.
- Collaborate with IT to establish site analytics.
- Work with the Analytics team (or individual) to develop, maintain, & improve customer metrics.
- Research & Formulate ways to optimize the User Experience.
- Maintain working knowledge of best practices in marketing.
- Identify and Pursue potential Partnership or Affiliate Opportunities.
- Analyze the current market trends and conduct data analysis to determine initiatives that would increase the brand's awareness and execution across online platforms.
Background & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Minimum of 7 Years of marketing experience required, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
Strong experience with digital marketing tools and digital user acquisition campaigns are critical.
Ethnic marketing experience is a big plus, especially marketing to the Korean or Asian communities in the US.
You must be hard working with a “Startup mindset” and attitude to go above and beyond.
Location: Candidate who lives in LA or Orange County, California is preferred but not required.

Operations AssociateJob type: Full-time |
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform any and all duties related to operating warehouse(s), office(s), and online properties for the company’s eCommerce delivery service, including warehouse work, office work, site management, general operations, customer support, vendor management, and more.
Organize inventory stock, pick & pack orders, and prepare items for delivery.
Accept, count, inspect, confirm, and label inventory.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Communicate with internal and external teams, employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe work environment in the warehouse(s) and office(s).
Perform any and all duties requested, including those that may be outside the scope of operations.
Background & Qualifications
4 year undergraduate bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
Must be on-location at the company’s office and warehouse facilities.
Must be a hard & diligent worker with a “startup mindset” to go above and beyond to help the company succeed.
Must be customer-service focused and meticulous with a desire to do the best job at any assigned task.
Must have strong people skills and good moral character.
Must have willingness to work extended or early morning hours.
Being Bilingual in English and Korean is a big plus but not required.

Customer Support StaffJob type: Full-time |
Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver a best-in-class customer support experience across multiple communication channels (e.g., email, phone, chat, social media comments etc.) as the customers’ first point of contact.
Manage customer queries and complaints, process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints.
Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization and work cross-functionally within the company to drive enhancements in product, operations, and marketing based on customer feedback.
Refine all customer support channels and systems (e.g., email, phone, online, chat, social media, knowledge base, etc.) to communicate with and support our end customers.
Create and refine policies, procedures, and operating times for customer engagement, escalation, and resolution to delight customers, increase first call resolution, measure customer satisfaction (e.g. NPS, CSAT, etc.), and enhance the company’s brand & reputation.
Background & Qualifications
Must be a self-starter and a high energy individual with a strong, customer service orientation.
Must have excellent communication, organization, and people skills.
Attentiveness and patience are critical traits to have.
Ideal candidates will have one to three years of experience in a customer-facing role.

Delivery DriverJob type: Contractor |
We are seeking delivery drivers to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up goods and packages. $200 per day (minimum) with opportunity to make $300 or more at RocketCart, Inc.
About the Role
We are looking for diligent, hard working, and trustworthy partner drivers who are looking to be rewarded for their efforts. This is an independent contractor role (1099), we highly prefer drivers with van/minivan, a full-size SUV, or equivalent (not a requirement). You can expect to make a minimum of over $200 per day, with the opportunity to make significantly more based on tips, your routes, etc.
Responsibilities
Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
Load and unload vehicle
Pickup deliveries at one centralized location in Cerritos
Collect returned packages
Available shifts Monday to Sunday between ~8AM to 4PM (flexible hours).
Be able to complete about 40-50 (or more) deliveries per day
Qualifications:
Eligible to work in the United States
Must be 18+ years old
Must be able to lift 10lbs- 30lbs
Possess a valid driver's license and has insurance
Highly prefer drivers with van/minivan, a full-size SUV or equivalent
